Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts on weekdays and weekends
* 26-week contract with possibility of extension
* Patient ratios of 1:5-7
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
* Travel experience not required
* Blocked schedule: unit cannot guarantee requests but will try to work with travelers as best as possible
* No scrubs provided
* Charting system: Cerner (experience required)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (must be through American Heart Association (AHA))
* WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
* Must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility
* Care for adult patients in a 34-bed acute medical-surgical unit with a daily census of 25-30 patients
* Skills required include blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, wound care/wound vac, PICC line management, IV insulin protocols, interpretation of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care/management, peripheral line care/management, and use of rapid response/code teams
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Facility will only tolerate 2-3 call offs per contract
