Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Holiday rotation required
* Patient ratio of 1:4 on days, nights, and weekends
* Float within scope to meet facility needs as required, agency staff floats first
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; ICU and/or Stepdown experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience
* South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Preferred certification: NIHSS
* Preferred charting system experience: Epic
* Scrub color: Royal blue
* Free parking available
* Block schedule requests may be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak months are August and September

Facility:

This facility is a 12-bed stepdown unit providing specialized intermediate care for adult and geriatric patients. The unit supports a wide range of clinical needs and utilizes Epic for charting. Staff are expected to maintain a broad clinical skill set including cardiac telemetry, arterial line management, tracheostomy care, and management of neurological and post-surgical patients, among other advanced competencies.
