Opportunity:

RN - Labor and Delivery

Job Details:

* Rotating shift schedule with various days of the week
* 1:2 patient ratio
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs, approximately 5-6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
* On-call required per unit needs
* Float required within Women and Infant Unit and may be required to float within metro region per facility needs
* 19-room Women's and Infants' Labor and Delivery Unit
* Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
* Scrub color: Navy
* 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required; prior travel experience preferred, first-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
* Colorado or Compact RN license required
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* RTO is not allowed during the following blackout periods: September 2 September 12, 2026; October 25 November 4, 2026; November 22 December 2, 2026; December 20 January 3, 2027
* No blocked scheduling requests permitted
* Skills required include but are not limited to: labor and delivery, cesarean section, fetal monitoring (internal and external), magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, postpartum hemorrhage management, epidural anesthesia support, triage of obstetrical patients, and wound assessment and care

This healthcare facility is a large, well-established health system offering comprehensive Women's and Infants' services, including a dedicated 19-room Labor and Delivery unit. The facility provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes Epic as its charting system throughout the health system.
