Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $4023.00

Opportunity:

LTAC MS/TELE - DAYS

Job Details:

* Day shift position working Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
* 36 or 48 hours per week also acceptable
* Contract options available for 13 or 26 weeks
* Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Some weekend shifts required, supported by rotating call among 6 to 8 staff members
* On-call coverage required after 5:00 PM daily and weekends, supported by primary and backup call staff
* Minimum 2 years of Medical/Telemetry experience required
* Neurology experience required
* LTAC experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills: complex wound care, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care and management
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of approximately 15 patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* May be required to float to other units and campuses based on census needs, limited to areas of demonstrated competency
* Pre-assignment testing and online modules required to be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information
