Job Details:

* Work 5x8-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM
* Weekend requirement varies based on staffing needs, typically every 4th weekend with weekday coverage
* On-call required - weekday call hours are 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM per call rotation with staff; call requirements may change based on staffing needs
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs or between sister facilities
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy)
* 2+ years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
* Block schedule requests can be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
* Surgical scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: Epic
* Free parking available in any unrestricted space
* Must be comfortable working with patients of all age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Required procedural skills include: abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, amputations, anterior cervical fusion, ACL reconstruction, appendectomy, arthroscopy, bunionectomy, carpal tunnel release, cataract extraction/implant, cholecystectomy, colon resection, cystoscopy, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, dilation & curettage, general OR, hernia repair, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, laparoscopic assisted procedures, lumbar fusion, mastectomy, ortho/spine, total joint replacement, thyroidectomy, and transurethral resection of the prostate, among others

This is an acute care hospital with 119 total staffed beds, offering a broad range of surgical services and specialties. The facility supports a wide variety of complex surgical procedures and utilizes advanced technology including the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and the Hana Table.
