Opportunity:

LTAC MS/TELE - NIGHT

Job Details:

* Position is located on a LTACH unit
* Night shift position
* 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
* 36 or 48 hours per week also acceptable
* Contract options available: 13 or 26 weeks
* Weekends are supported by rotating on-call coverage among 6 to 8 staff members
* On-call required after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call staff
* Patient ratios: 4 patients per nurse on days, nights, and weekends
* Daily census of approximately 15 patients
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Minimum 2 years of Medical/Telemetry experience required
* LTAC experience preferred
* Neurology experience required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills: complex wound care, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care and management
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Floating to other units and campuses may be required based on census needs
* Must be willing to float to units where competencies have already been demonstrated and documented

The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and dedicated unit secretarial support.
