Job Details:

* 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
* Weekend coverage required
* Self-scheduling available
* Patient ratio of 2:1 on days, nights, and weekends
* Float required to ICUs and Cardiac Telemetry units
* Standby call required (no call pay provided)
* Care for adult cardiac and medical intensive care patients as well as step-down overflow
* Manage advanced cardiac devices including Impella, IABP, LVAD, and Transcatheter Ventricular Pacemaker (TVP)
* Perform hemodynamic monitoring, CRRT, ventilator management, and invasive line management
* Minimum 2 years of experience required with strong cardiac ICU background (CCU or CVICU preferred)
* 1-year minimum experience with Epic EMR required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills include: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, post cardiac surgery care (not directly from OR), pre/post cardiac cath and intervention, sheath removal, arterial line management, central line care, continuous IV sedation, blood product administration, IV insulin protocols, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and ventilator management
* Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information
* One pre-approved time off request allowed per contract
* Orientation is 72 hours and takes place every Monday
