Job Details:

* Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* On-call required: up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks
* Weekend requirement: up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks
* Holiday requirement: must work at least one holiday period (Christmas: Dec. 24?Dec. 26 or New Year's: Dec. 31?Jan. 1)
* Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units or sister facilities as required
* 2 years of OR RN experience strongly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS and Radiation Badge (to be provided by agency)
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Scrub experience strongly preferred
* RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
* Surgical specialties include Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
* Block schedule requests require manager approval and are dependent on unit needs

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The Main Operating Room consists of 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties and is supported by a nursing team comprised of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists. The department is a busy and dynamic nurse-driven environment offering cutting-edge technology and interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary services.
