Opportunity:

Radiology Didactic Trainer

Job Details:

* 30-40 hours per week with full-time hours available based on candidate preference
* Onsite position at Mission Center Building
* Class schedule: Monday 9:00 AM?12:00 PM and 5:30?8:30 PM, Tuesday 6:30?9:30 PM, Wednesday 9:00 AM?12:00 PM and 5:30?8:30 PM, Thursday 6:30?9:30 PM
* Deliver didactic instruction within an 18-month radiography training program across six consecutive 11-week terms
* Design and deliver course content aligned with JRCERT Standards and ARRT content specifications
* Evaluate student learning using objective, equitable, and documented criteria
* Contribute to curriculum development, outcomes assessment, and continuous quality improvement efforts
* Advise and support students, identifying and addressing academic difficulty early
* Analyze course outcomes data and translate findings into instructional improvements
* Teach radiographic science content including positioning and procedures, radiation physics and protection, image production, and patient care
* Utilize learning management systems and educational technology platforms
* Comprehensive knowledge of adult-learning theory, instructional design, competency-based education, and assessment design required
* Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field required (or equivalent experience/training)
* Current, unrestricted ARRT certification and registration in Radiography R(R) required
* Current California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) state license required
* Teaching hospital experience required
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal

Facility:

This facility is part of one of the world's leading academic medical centers, operating an 18-month full-time entry-level radiography program developed in partnership with a local community college. The program integrates asynchronous online coursework, weekly online instructor meetings, face-to-face laboratory sessions, and supervised clinical rotations across multiple affiliated imaging sites. The program is pursuing accreditation from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and approval from the California Department of Public Health, Radiologic Health Branch, with graduates eligible to sit for the ARRT certification examination in radiography upon completion.
