MS/Tele RN
Job Details:
* 13 to 20 week contract assignment
* Weekend coverage required with a minimum of every other weekend
* No on-call required
* No block schedules required
* Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float required between Acute Care units at two Providence facilities if census does not support the need
* Caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Daily census of 13 patients with 12 rooms and 13 beds
* Charting via Epic system - experience required
* Scrub color: Any color accepted
* No parking fee
* Minimum 1 year of recent MS/Tele experience required
* Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Required skills include: Accessing/Managing Ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Chest tubes, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Feeding tube care and management, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Pacemakers, PCA, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Wound Care/Wound Vac, and Ortho patient care/pin care
* Common patient diagnoses include surgical patients, ORIF, Wound Vac/infections, cellulitis, and BKA
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal

This Critical Access Hospital operates with 23 total staff beds and provides acute care services across two nearby sister facilities. The facility utilizes Epic for electronic charting and offers a comprehensive interdisciplinary support team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary staff. The organization maintains high standards for patient care across its network of facilities.
