Opportunity:

RN - OR Circulator

Job Details:

* 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM with night and weekend call rotation
* 1 weekend required every 4-6 weeks
* On-call requirement of 1-2 days per week on a rotating schedule with all circulators
* 3-4 weekend shifts per contract
* 1 year of circulator experience required; PACU experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Epic experience within the last 18 months required and must be documented on submission profile
* Allscripts charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Active TN or compact license required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS; PALS preferred
* Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Work in a 10-room OR suite
* Perform and assist with a wide range of surgical procedures including total joint replacement using Mako Robot, hysterectomy, prostatectomy, and sacrocolpopexy using Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, urologic procedures using Dornier laser, and AAA repair both planned and emergent with vascular surgeon
* Additional procedures include orthopedic, general, gynecologic, urologic, and robotic surgeries
* Skills required include laparoscopic assisted cases, infection control, fire safety, laser safety, malignant hyperthermia response, universal protocol, specimen handling, and starting peripheral IVs

Facility:

This facility is a full-service surgical environment equipped with advanced technology including the Mako Robotic Surgical System and Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, supporting a wide range of complex surgical specialties. The OR suite consists of 10 rooms and supports orthopedic, gynecologic, urologic, vascular, and general surgery services. The facility maintains high standards for patient care across all age groups and is supported by a collaborative interdisciplinary team.
