Job Details:
* Day shift position in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
* Four rooms run daily with operations maintained until 5:00 PM
* Call required, averaging approximately 10 days per month including weekends
* On-call schedule includes 1-2 weekends per month and 1-2 weekdays per week
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Scrub experience required
* NBSTSA or NCCT certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
* Perform complex open-heart and vascular procedures including CABG, ECMO, Impella, TAVR, TCAR, EVAR, lung resection, and robotic heart and lung procedures
* All cardiac procedures performed except transplants
* Skills required include but are not limited to: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aseptic Technique, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Mitral Valve Replacement, TEVAR, TAVR, VATS, Ventricular Assist Device (VAD), and Robotic Hearts and Lungs
* Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Daily case volume of 6
* Travelers may be expected to float to like units within their scope based on facility needs

This facility operates a high-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room specializing in complex open-heart and vascular procedures. The CVOR currently runs four rooms daily and is expanding capacity to meet growing patient needs. The facility is traveler-friendly and offers flexible scheduling whenever possible to support work-life balance and continuity of care.
