Opportunity:
RN Labor and Delivery
Job Details:
* Rotating shift schedule with various days of the week
* Work in a Women's and Infants Labor and Delivery unit with 19 rooms
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs, approximately 5-6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
* On-call required per unit needs
* Float required within Women and Infant unit and may be required to float within metro region per facility needs
* Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
* Scrub color: Navy
* 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required; prior travel experience preferred, first-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
* Colorado or Compact RN license required
* Key clinical skills include: Labor and Delivery, Cesarean Section, Epidural Anesthesia, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin administration, External and Internal Fetal Monitoring, Postpartum Hemorrhage management, Pregnancy Induced Hypertension, Triage of obstetrical patients, and use of infusion pumps and IV monitoring

The Labor and Delivery unit consists of 19 rooms and is supported by an interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Interpretation Services. The facility is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and maintains advanced resources to support complex obstetric cases.
