Job Details:

* Three 12-hour shifts per week, scheduled from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
* Fair share of call and holidays required, with at least 50% of holidays worked during the contract
* 1.5 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* No travelers residing within 50 miles eligible to apply
* Position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
* Rotating shifts required, including weekends and work during inclement weather
* Floating is mandatory; may float to various units as needed, including as a Patient Observer
* Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA
* Charting system experience required; any system accepted, Cerner preferred
* Missouri or Compact license must be in hand at start
* Skills required include but are not limited to: Ambulatory OR, General OR, vascular surgeries, ENT procedures, abdominal surgeries, gynecologic procedures, spinal surgeries, ophthalmic procedures, orthopedic procedures, robotic surgeries, thoracic procedures, urologic procedures, and fire/laser/radiation/sharps safety protocols
* Additional competencies required: Aseptic Technique, Specimen Handling/Labeling, Sterilization/Disinfection, Universal Protocol (Time Out) Procedure, and Closed/Open Reduction of Fractures
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and pediatrics
