Opportunity:

Trauma ICU - Level I Trauma experience required

Job Details:

* Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Epic charting experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; PALS and TNCC preferred
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* Float required to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry as needed
* Unit consists of 14 rooms and 16 beds with a daily census of 14
* Patients served are adults
* Level I Trauma ICU experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Required skills include: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care and management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, starting and maintaining IVs
* Preferred skills include: ICP monitoring, ventilator management, Level I Trauma
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* Half of weekend shifts required per contract
* One pre-approved time off request allowed

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center offering a specialized Trauma ICU equipped to handle the most critical and complex patient cases. The unit operates with strong interdisciplinary support and maintains a low patient-to-nurse ratio to ensure the highest quality of care. The facility provides comprehensive resources including respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy support to assist clinical staff in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
