Open Position: Social Worker - Licensed Social Worker

Job Details:

* Work 10-hour shifts with available schedules of Days 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or Evenings 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM
* Work every other weekend, including both Saturday and Sunday
* No on-call required
* Patient ratio of 7
* Float between sister hospital ED (Holy Family Hospital) to complete the same duties if overstaffed
* Serve adult and pediatric patient populations in the Emergency Room department
* Conduct crisis risk assessments and mental health evaluations for adults and pediatrics
* Evaluate patients for level of risk for danger to self, danger to others, or grave disability
* Provide level of care recommendations as a consultant directed by ED attending provider or APP
* Perform biopsychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and care coordination
* Work with multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care for patients with mental health illness and substance use disorder
* Charting system: Epic experience required
* Must hold full independent clinical licensure - associate license will not suffice
* Required licensure: LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; 3 years preferred
* Hospital experience preferred
* Must be experienced in conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Facility:

This facility is a Short Term Acute Care hospital and serves as both a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. With 629 staffed beds, this teaching hospital offers a comprehensive range of services and supports a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment. The Emergency Department serves both adult and pediatric populations, with a focus on mental health crisis intervention and evaluation services.
