Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
* Floating to other units is required
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Charge nurse capability highly preferred
* Travel experience required
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in emergency department required with some pediatrics experience
* EMR experience required: EPIC
* Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be in hand)
* Active NY RN license required with NURSYS verification
* Treat patients across all age groups including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric populations
* Manage common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
* Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
* Work within a 64-bed unit consisting of 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psychiatric beds

The unit features 64 beds across multiple care areas including acute care, trauma, psychiatric, and a clinical decision unit, supporting a diverse and high-acuity patient population. The facility is equipped with advanced specialty equipment and provides comprehensive emergency services to patients of all ages.
