Opportunity:

Ultrasound Technician

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* Must be willing to take call
* Provide timely diagnostic ultrasound services to both inpatient and outpatient populations
* Perform abdominal, pelvic (gynecological and obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms
* Scan small parts including thyroid, breast, and scrotum
* Perform ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations
* Must have Echo and OB technician experience
* Must hold ARDMS or RDCS certification
* Must hold BLS certification through the American Heart Association
* Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
* Must maintain state license as a general radiographer and/or be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
* Work under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
