RN - GI Lab

Job Details:

* Four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM), with the option to discuss 5x8 or 4x10 schedule during interview
* Weekly weeknight call required plus weekend call coverage (approximately 1-2 weeknights per week and every 3 weekends)
* Must have strong circulating and teching skills for advanced GI procedures
* Must be comfortable independently assisting with advanced procedures including EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound), ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), EMR/ESD, Enteroscopy, and Endolumenal Surgery
* Responsibilities include managing specialized imaging catheters, sphincterotomy wires, stents, ultrasound processors, Fine Needle Aspiration tools, electrocautery, injection needles, snares, balloon catheters, endoscopic suturing, stent deployment, and Endoflip device setup
* Responsible for high-level disinfection and reprocessing of complex scopes in accordance with SGNA and manufacturer standards
* Charting system: EPIC
* Trauma Level 1, Acute Care Setting
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* RNs must pass an open book exam with a minimum score of 90% during orientation
* Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
* Pre-questionnaire required prior to manager review and offer
