RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required; travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Will float to postpartum if census requires
* Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period (guaranteed hours)
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM, and AWHONN Advanced (NCC EFM accepted in lieu of AWHONN Advanced)
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Scrub color: Navy Blue for RNs; scrubs provided for L&D/OR
* Perform fetal heart monitoring and high-risk pregnancy monitoring
* Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate/scrub for C-sections
* Provide care in 4 antepartum rooms, 9 labor/high-risk rooms, and 3 triage rooms
* Perform postpartum couplet care (newborn and maternal) when needed
* Ability to work in an OR suite during C-sections required (standard OR equipment)
* Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, and adults
* Average census of approximately 200 deliveries per month
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, social services, rapid response teams, and interpretation services
* Patient privacy is of the utmost importance
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission
* 2 references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years, due during compliance process prior to start
