Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* 4x10 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 5x8 shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM as needed
* On-call required: 1 weekday and 1 weekend every 4-6 weeks, including holidays
* 13-week contract with possibility of extension
* Travel experience required
* Minimum 1.5-2 years of experience required
* Work settings required: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, and Special Procedures
* Work settings preferred: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab and Interventional Radiology
* Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures along with endovascular peripheral intervention
* Required skills include: Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), Hemodynamic Monitoring, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella Insertion, Laser Assisted Procedures, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Pulmonary Artery (PA) Line Insertion, Rotablator Atherectomy, and Temporary Pacemaker
* Additional required skills: Accurate monitoring, Equipment setup, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Room circulator, Scrub/maintain sterile field, and Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose)
* Experience with Siemens equipment and PACS required
* Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience)
* Scrubs provided
* Patient age groups: Adults and Geriatrics
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), ARRT R
* Preferred certification: ARRT CI
* WV Medical Imaging/Radiologic Technology license required; must be registered by the A.R.R.T., R.T.(R)
* Must be a graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
