Job Details:

* 36-hour night shift schedule
* 1:2 patient ratio
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Scrub color: Dark Gray
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* LTAC experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Required skills include: arterial line management, care of the patient on ECMO, care of ventilated patient, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, ECMO, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation of dysrhythmias, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), isolation precautions/PPE, management of dysrhythmias, management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, nurse driven ECMO protocols, PICC line management, post cardiac surgery (not directly from the OR), pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, titrate cardiac drips, and titrate vasoactive drips

Facility:

This facility is a cardiovascular intensive care unit equipped with 10 beds and a daily census of 7 patients. The unit is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. The facility provides a comprehensive and collaborative care environment for adult and geriatric patients requiring advanced cardiovascular critical care.
