Opportunity:
Lead CT Tech
Job Details:
* Lead CT Technologist role at South campus requiring minimum 3 years of lead experience
* Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* 12-week contract
* Call required on a rotational basis
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, BLS, FL State License
* Must be proficient with GE 64 slice and 256 slice equipment
* Must be proficient in 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
* Must be experienced in performing CT studies including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and sinuses with and/or without contrast
* Must have experience with advanced procedures including coronary CTA, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, myelography, vascular CTA, and PET CT
* Must be comfortable performing aspirations, biopsies, drainage procedures, and enterography studies
* Must be proficient in multiplanar reconstruction, PACS, and radiation safety
* Must be able to start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture
* Must be experienced in preparation and administration of contrast media
* Must have experience treating patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Experience in adult acute care, pediatric acute care, ICU, and emergency department settings required
* Management and lead experience required
* Permanent address must be 75 miles from facility

This facility is a large hospital operating with 350 beds and a daily census of 150 patients. The radiology department features 4 CT rooms and offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support through radiology services. The facility serves a diverse patient population across all age groups and maintains a full-service imaging department equipped with advanced GE technology to support a wide range of CT procedures.
