Job Details:
* Work 4x10-hour shifts Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM at Main location
* Holiday rotation required
* No on-call requirements
* Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including rotation through all buildings when needed
* Floating to sister facilities required
* Must attend all staff meetings
* Guaranteed hours subject to facility calling off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Dress code: Teal top and black bottom scrubs
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Parking: Nights and weekends only - one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Radiation badge required and MUST be supplied by agency
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT), SC License
* Required experience: Peripheral IV (PIV), Siemens equipment experience, and Level 1 Trauma experience
* Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with previous experience
* Must have South Carolina license in hand at time of start - pending licenses not accepted
* Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
* Equipment used: Siemens Force (Somaris 7), Siemens Go.Top (Somaris 10), and Siemens Somatom Definition (Somaris 7)
* Perform a variety of CT procedures including routine studies, outpatient imaging, cardiac, and interventional radiology procedures
* Skills required include: contrast media preparation and administration, multiplanar reconstruction, 3D rendering, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, PACS, and trauma imaging
* Interventional radiology and angiography experience preferred, including biopsies and drainage procedures
* Orientation hours: 40 hours
Facility:
This facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds and a daily census of 130 patients. The facility also serves as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, offering a broad range of services including routine studies, outpatient imaging, cardiac procedures, and interventional radiology. The CT department operates three rooms and utilizes advanced Siemens imaging technology to support a high-acuity patient population.
