Open Position: RN - Cath Lab

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2709.40

Cath Lab RN

Job Details:

* 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call responsibilities
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Daily caseload of 8-10 cases per clinician
* Minimum 2 years RN experience required; must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention including Structural
* First-time travelers not accepted - prior Cath Lab experience required
* Weekend requirement is call only
* On-call schedule includes 2-3 weekday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM as second call, and approximately one weekend every 4-5 weeks starting Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM; first and second call rotate every 12 hours during weekend call
* 2-hour callback minimum
* Floating within scope may be required if needed, but will more than likely remain in Cath Lab
* Responsibilities include circulating in the lab, performing moderate sedation, patient assessment, medication administration, pre and post-op care, and call coverage
* Charting system: Cerner
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Free parking available for travelers
* Active WV or Compact License required to start; pending license accepted for submission
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
* Travel experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center operating as a major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH). With 838 total staffed beds, this large-scale facility offers a dynamic and comprehensive care environment supported by advanced resources and interdisciplinary teams. The Cath Lab operates with 10 teams, providing a well-structured and collaborative setting for cardiac care professionals.
