Opportunity:
Special Procedures Technologist
Job Details:
* Support IC, IR, Vascular, Structural Heart, and Neuro specialties
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* Block scheduling with attempts made to schedule as consistently as possible
* On-call requirement: 2-hour callback minimum, 8 call days within a 4-week period
* Weekend call required: 1 call weekend every 3-5 weeks, Friday through Monday
* 24-hour on-call coverage required on Saturdays and Sundays
* Daily caseload of approximately 15 patients
* Float within cath lab unit as needed; no floating to sister facilities required
* Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, State License
* Key procedures include: Structural Heart (TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman), IR, Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac, and EP
* Required skills include: Angioplasty, Cardiac Stent Placement, Carotid Angiography, Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Embolization, Endovascular Interventions, EVAR, IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Left and Right Heart Catheterization, PCI, PTCA, Rotablator Atherectomy, Scrub Procedures, Sterile Technique, TEVAR, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, and Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography
* Most common equipment includes: Philips imaging systems, Philips Xper hemo system, Philips IVUS/IFR/FFR, Boston IVUS IFR/FFR, OCT, Roto, Penumbra, Angiojet, Jetstream, EKOS, and Shockwave
* Electronic charting experience required
* Pre-approved time off restricted to 7 days
