Open Position: RAD Tech - Cath Lab

Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

* On-call weekend requirement only; no standard weekend shifts
* On-call requirement of 14-15 shifts per month, every other week Sunday through Saturday
* Holiday policy requires working 2 of 3 holidays; on-call only with 1 winter or 1 summer holiday required as needed
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Serve as room circulator; scrub and maintain sterile field
* Perform equipment setup, EKG lead placement, and access site preparation
* Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias and interpret dysrhythmias
* Stock supplies and maintain sterile technique
* Perform and assist with vascular procedures including angioplasty and endovascular interventions
* Perform and assist with cardiac cath lab procedures including ASD closures, cardiac implant closure device, stent placement, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, permanent/temporary pacemaker insertion, and PA line insertion
* Work settings include diagnostic cardiac cath lab and interventional radiology
* Charting via Epic required
* Float within skillset required without exception
* Hospital-provided scrubs
* First-time travelers and local candidates accepted
* 2 years of experience required; may consider 1 year based on experience
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and ARRT(R) or RCIS
* NJ license not required at time of submission but must be in place prior to start
