Job Details:

* Block scheduling type with a census of 33 days, 7 nights, and 7 weekends
* Must be available to work major holidays
* Weekend work required
* On-call required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* At least 1 year of travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* Special equipment experience required: Steris Washers, ultrasonic and autoclaves, ASP low temp NX100's, and SPM instrument tracking software
* Experience working with Evotech (ASP) systems required
* Required skills include: Acute Hospital OR, cleaning equipment (crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps), high-level disinfection (HLD), use of washers/sterilizers, case cart, proper selection of wrapping materials, sterilization wrapping procedures, sets/trays assembly, equipment documentation
* Specialty experience required: Ear/Nose/Throat, General, Orthopedics, Plastics, and Urology
* Sterilization competencies required: biological indicators, chemical indicators, steam sterilization testing/monitoring, and immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS)
* Pre-approved time off limited to one request per contract
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off restrictions apply
* Local candidates not accepted; 75-mile rule applies with proof of address required at submission
