Job Details:

* Position located at Pacific Campus, a Pavilion for Women and Children with comprehensive maternity services and Level II NICU
* 12-hour shifts with variable weekend scheduling required
* Guaranteed hours: Clinician may be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2-week period
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Float required to Postpartum unit
* No call required
* Local candidates not accepted
* High risk perinatal care unit featuring 19 labor and delivery beds, 10 antepartum beds, 30 postpartum beds, 3 ORs, 2 PACU, and 7-bay triage
* Staffing ratios: 1:1 in labor, 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support, 1:2-3 in antepartum
* Triage staffed with 3 skilled RNs per shift
* CNA support available in postpartum with 3 CNAs per shift
* 3-4 delivering providers available 24/7, 2 CRNAs available 24/7, and 2 Health Unit Coordinators available 24/7
* Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Candidates should ideally have experience in facilities handling 200+ deliveries; candidates with experience in facilities handling 100-200 deliveries will also be considered
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Scrub color: Any (no reddish orange permitted)
* Parking: Facility paid
* Required certifications (all are hard stop requirements): ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring
* Hard stop requirement: Must have sterile vaginal exam (SVE) skill
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during compliance process and prior to start
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across two campuses. The Pacific Campus specializes in women's and children's services, offering comprehensive maternity care including a Level III labor and delivery unit and Level II NICU. The facility is equipped with advanced technology including Epic charting and offers robust interdisciplinary support to ensure high-quality patient care across all units.
