L&D Nights

Job Details:

* Night shift position with option of 36 or 48 hours per week
* 6 weekend shifts in 6 weeks or every third weekend required
* Float to Postpartum as needed based on facility needs
* 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Valid KS or Compact RN license required at time of submission
* Required certifications: BLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP, FHM - must be in hand at time of submission
* Care for patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults
* Provide care for laboring patients including high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia and diabetes for gestations 34 weeks 0 days and greater
* Perform and assist with C-sections, External Cephalic Versions, and OB Triage
* Support Postpartum and Level 2 Special Care Nursery patients
* Skills include administration of blood and blood products, magnesium sulfate therapy, pitocin, epidural anesthesia management, neonatal resuscitation, use of external and internal fetal monitoring, VBAC management, and postpartum hemorrhage management

Facility:

This facility operates a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit providing comprehensive obstetric and neonatal care. The unit supports OB Triage, Postpartum, and a Level 2 Special Care Nursery, offering a full continuum of maternal and newborn services. The facility is equipped to handle complex, high-risk pregnancies and deliveries with interdisciplinary support and advanced clinical resources.
