Opportunity:

IR Vascular OR Technologist

Job Details:

* 3x12 shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM and 4x10 shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* 13-week contract
* 1:1 patient ratios
* Call required once a week and every fourth weekend
* Perform endovascular and open vascular cases in a hybrid operating room setting
* Procedures include peripheral vascular work and other endovascular procedures such as EVAR, TEVAR, declot, and TCAR
* Patients include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with vascular disease diagnoses
* Utilize Epic, PACS, SBAR, and Pyxis systems
* Epic experience preferred; PACS experience required
* Special equipment includes Siemens, Shockwave, and IVUS
* Scrubs provided
* 36 hours of orientation provided based on experience
* Contract staff may be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty situations, or disasters
* ARRT R certification required; ARRT VI preferred
* BLS certification required
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a hybrid operating room equipped with advanced imaging and endovascular technology to support a wide range of vascular procedures. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The unit sees approximately 14 patients per day across 2 rooms and is staffed to maintain a consistent 1:1 patient ratio across all shifts.
