Opportunity:

RN - FSED

Job Details:

* Work in a 24/7 Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)
* Day shift hours: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
* Night shift hours: 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
* Patient ratio of 1:4 depending on acuity
* Every other weekend required, no on-call responsibilities
* Must clock out for lunch breaks and any time leaving the building and communicate with the CNC
* Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs, no hoodies
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, CPI or equivalent, PALS or ENPC
* Must have skills in rapidly identifying Sepsis, STEMI, Stroke, and Trauma
* Experience with airway management and ventilators preferred
* Strong critical thinking skills preferred
* Must demonstrate compassion, sense of urgency, and ability to work as a team player
* Perform procedures including splinting, wound care, IV starts, medication administration, assessments, reassessments, documentation, and oversight of EMT-Ps
* Work with equipment including Baxter pumps, Hamilton vents, GE cardiac monitors, and Stryker stretchers
* EMR system: Meditech
* 15-bed unit staffed with RNs and EMT-Ps across shifts

This freestanding emergency department operates 24/7 and is equipped with modern medical technology to handle a wide range of emergency cases. The facility maintains five emergency rooms and focuses on rapid identification and treatment of high-acuity conditions including Sepsis, STEMI, Stroke, and Trauma. The organization emphasizes compassionate, team-oriented care and supports staff with a collaborative environment of RNs and EMT-Ps working together.
