Job Details:

* 4x10 hour shifts with variable days Monday through Friday and variable start times at 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM
* No self-scheduling; start times will remain consistent within the same week
* Tuesdays and Fridays have later start times for in-services and team meetings
* 1 call shift total (weeknight or weekend) per 4-week schedule
* Weekday call begins at end of shift until 7:00 AM the following morning
* Weekend call is 24 hours (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM) and is rotated between staff and travelers
* Call response time is 30 minutes; call room is available
* No floating requirements
* Teal scrubs provided
* Must have cardiac experience
* Must have Washington State license at time of submittal; no pending licenses will be reviewed
* Minimum one year of scrubbing experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
* Must have ENT experience including FESS (sinus), septoplasty, cochlear implant, tympanoplasty, and laryngoscopy in addition to soft tissue procedures such as thyroid and parathyroid
* Da Vinci XI robotic experience required (GYN, URO, General)
* Common cases include GYN, Urology, Vascular, Plastics, Orthopedics (total hips/knees), Neuro, Cardiovascular, Thoracic, General (Breast/HPB/Bariatric), Sports Medicine (Hand/Podiatry), Kidney/Pancreatic transplants, and ENT across 16 different service lines
* Must bring own earphones during first week of orientation for online training onsite
* Required certification: BLS
* Must be registered with Washington State; graduation from an accredited school required
* Charting system: Cerner
* BSN not required

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a large surgical department with 22 suites and the capability to expand to 26 suites across three different floors. The department handles an average of 50 to 65 cases per day across 16 different service lines, supporting a wide range of complex and large-scale surgical procedures. The surgical team is known for being highly collaborative and supportive, with physicians and staff who are willing to teach and mentor traveling professionals.
