Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
* Facility provides scrubs - no personal scrubs required
* Operate within a 7 OR suite facility that also includes 1 Cysto room and 2 C-section rooms
* Average of 15-24 cases per day
* Common cases include heavy orthopedics (total joints), GYN/C-sections, urology, spine, ENT, GI, and general surgery - no robotics
* Vascular cases include fem pops, cut downs, hybrid cases with cath lab, stents, fistulas, and CABG (CVOR only)
* Pediatric cases are limited to tubes and tonsils; occasional appendectomy cases
* Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute care OR setting required
* Previous travel experience preferred with ability to hit the ground running
* Strong preference for candidates with orthopedic total joint experience (first scrub) for CST role
* Must be able to perform C-sections
* CST call requirement: 6-7 call shifts per month including one weekend (Friday 3:00 PM through all day Sunday)
* CST CVOR call requirement: 15-16 call shifts per month including every other weekend (Friday 3:00 PM through all day Sunday)
* Call response time: 20 minutes for CST; 30 minutes for CST CVOR
* Holiday call may be required if a holiday falls during the contract period
* Cancellation policy: 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
* Charting system: EPIC
* No floating requirements
* Required certifications: BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA or Certified Surgical Technologist (TS-C) via NCCT

This acute care facility operates as a Level 3 Trauma Center and features a robust surgical department with 7 operating rooms, a Cysto room, and 2 C-section rooms. The surgical program supports a high volume of diverse cases with a strong focus on orthopedic, cardiovascular, and women's health procedures. The facility utilizes EPIC as its charting system and maintains a structured on-call and scheduling system supported by charge nurses during the day and house supervisors after hours.
