Cardiology Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)

Job Details:

* 4x8-hour shift schedule Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday; Tuesday shifts may be an option as needed
* Shift times: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM; Tuesday 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call required
* 13-week contract
* Must be a certified Medical Assistant (MA-C); MA-R, MA-P, and MA-HT credentials are not accepted
* This is a temp-to-hire opportunity; candidate must be open and willing to convert to a permanent position at the end of the contract
* Primary location: First Hill Clinic in Seattle, Monday through Thursday; Friday at First Hill Clinic with possible floating to Ravenna Clinic or Canyon Park Clinic in Bothell as needed
* Floating between clinic locations may be required for staffing coverage as needed, not every day
* Reliable personal transportation is required; public transportation is not accepted
* 6 months of experience as an MA-C in an adult or pediatric outpatient clinic setting is preferred
* Cardiology setting experience is preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, CMA
* EPIC charting experience preferred
* Scrub color: Solid dark, no prints
* Required skills include:
- Obtaining vital signs, height/weight, pulse oximetry, and 12-lead EKG/ECG
- Patient positioning and draping
- Recording patient history, medications, and allergies
- Administering immunizations and medications
- Blood glucose testing via glucometer
- Chart preparation and stocking supplies
- Telephone triage, follow-up phone calls, and rooming patients

This outpatient clinic network operates multiple specialty clinic locations across the Seattle and Bothell, Washington area. The facilities provide a range of outpatient specialty services, including cardiology, and are equipped with modern charting technology to support high-quality patient care. The organization serves both adult and pediatric patient populations across its various clinic sites.
