MS Tele RN Nights
Job Details:
* Work 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Patient ratio of 1:5 on nights
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call requirements
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
* 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
* Experience required in MS/Tele, Telemetry, and Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, including telemetry monitoring on the unit
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* No parking cost
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Block scheduling may be requested prior to assignment but is not guaranteed
* Required skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, peripheral line care and management, renal failure management, and oxygen administration
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics with common medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, coronary artery disease, ESRD, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and social services
* During hurricane season (June through November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
Facility:
This is an acute care hospital with 286 staffed beds, offering a comprehensive range of medical services to the community. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and supports a collaborative, interdisciplinary care model that includes physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, phlebotomy, and social services. The unit consists of 30 beds serving adult and geriatric populations with a strong focus on medical-telemetry care.
