Open Position: Medical Assistant - Medical Assistant Float Pool

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1303.60

Opportunity:

Medical Assistant / Cardiology

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* No on-call requirements
* No weekend requirement
* Clinic sees approximately 20-35 patients per day
* Serve adult patients in an outpatient Noninvasive Cardiology/EKG clinic with 8 rooms
* Travel to various locations throughout Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Carroll County based on need
* Experience obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECGs, vital signs, and height/weight required
* Experience obtaining and documenting patient history, medications, and allergies required
* Rooming patients and completing follow-up phone calls required
* Cardiology experience preferred
* Insurance verification, pharmacy/patient refill calls, appointment scheduling, stocking supplies, and telephone triage experience preferred
* Holter monitor/event monitor experience preferred
* Cerner charting system experience required
* BLS certification required
* Any scrub color is acceptable
* 2 years of experience required
* Valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission
* No RTO will be accepted after auto offer
* Every other winter and summer holiday are required with no RTO approved on those days
* No RTO on hard-to-fill days such as Easter, Mother's Day, and Father's Day

This outpatient cardiology clinic specializes in noninvasive cardiology and EKG services, operating out of an 8-room facility that serves adult patients. The clinic provides a comprehensive range of cardiac care services and operates Monday through Friday with day shifts, offering a structured and professional healthcare environment. Staff members may be required to float between multiple locations to meet facility needs across the surrounding county areas.
