Opportunity:
Cath Lab RN
Job Details:
* Work 4 ten-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Occasionally perform STEMI coverage on weekends with participation in STEMI call when scheduled during those coverage periods
* On-call required Monday through Saturday for post PCI patients that need to be brought back into the Cath Lab
* Call required 2-3 days per week
* Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* Cath Lab team consists of 3 full-time nurses with 1 procedure room and a pre/post procedure area with 4 bays staffed by 2 registered nurses
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of 4 patients with 4 visits per day
* Perform and support procedures including circulating, scrubbing, procedural sedation administration and monitoring
* Charting system: Cerner (preferred)
* Scrubs are provided by the facility
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by the agency
* 2 years of experience required
* South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* No floating between service lines or sister facilities required
* 60-mile local radius rule applies
