Open Position: RN - NICU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2573.08

Opportunity:

NICU RN - 12hr PM/NOC Variables

Job Details:

* 12-hour PM/NOC variable shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM based on unit needs - must be flexible
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* 13-week contract
* Every third weekend required
* Holiday rotation required
* Float to Pediatrics as needed
* May pick up on-call shifts as desired
* 18-bed Level III NICU with private rooms and family-integrated care
* Average patient ratio of 2:1 (ranging from 1:1 to 3:1)
* Post-partum patients cared for in the NICU with OB RN managing post-partum care
* Position requires serving as a resource for less experienced NICU RNs given recent transition from Level II to Level III
* Minimum 2+ years of Level III NICU experience required
* At least 1 completed travel assignment preferred
* Desired skillset includes experience with extremely low birth weight patients and deliveries
* EPIC charting experience within the last 12 months required
* Active Wisconsin RN or Compact license required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS and NRP
* Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
* Scrub colors: Any color or hospital provided
* Contractors must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

This facility is a Level III NICU offering specialized care for critically ill and extremely premature newborns in a private-room, family-integrated environment. The unit is committed to high-quality neonatal care and is seeking experienced nursing professionals to support the team during high-acuity situations. The facility recently transitioned from a Level II to a Level III NICU, reflecting its growth and expanded capabilities in neonatal care.
