RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* 4x12 shift schedule with 48-hour contract
* Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
* Floating to other units is required
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Charge nurse capability highly preferred
* Travel experience required
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in Emergency Department with some pediatric experience required
* Experience with EPIC EMR required
* Treat a diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
* Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
* Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
* Work in a 64-bed unit including 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds
* Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand)
* Active New York RN license required with NURSYS verification

The unit features 64 beds across multiple care areas including acute care, trauma, psychiatric, and a clinical decision unit, supporting a broad and diverse patient population from newborns to geriatric patients.
