Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Opportunity:

LTAC MS/TELE - DAYS

Job Details:

* Day shift position, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
* 36 or 48 hours per week also acceptable
* Contract options of 13 or 26 weeks available
* Weekends supported by rotating call schedule shared among 6 to 8 staff members
* On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by Primary and Backup call staff
* Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Patients served include adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of approximately 15 patients
* 2 years of Medical/Telemetry experience required
* Neurology experience required
* LTAC experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Required skills include complex wound care, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, tracheostomy care and management
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
* Floating to other units and/or campuses may be required based on census needs, limited to areas where competencies have been demonstrated and documented
