Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Patient ratio of 1:4
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* May be required to float within scope to meet facility needs
* Block schedule available upon approval
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
* Preferred certifications: CPI, TNCC, NRP
* Epic charting experience preferred
* Scrub color: Royal Blue
* No parking cost
* Care provided to patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Provide emergency care to patients with diverse emergent care needs in a rural setting
* Higher acuity patients are transferred
* Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
* During hurricane season (June through November), all contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Facility:

This facility is a 13-bed emergency department providing comprehensive emergency care services in a rural setting. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and interpretation services. Higher acuity patients are transferred to ensure appropriate levels of care are maintained for the patient population served.
