Open Position: RN - Cath Lab

Opportunity:

Cath Lab RN

Job Details:

* 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call requirements
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Daily caseload of 8-10 cases per tech
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience required with at least 1 year in Cath Lab
* Must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention including Structural
* First-time travelers not accepted - experience required
* Weekend requirement: Call only
* Call requirements: 2-3 weekday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM (second call), and approximately one weekend every 4-5 weeks from Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM; first and second call rotate every 12 hours; 2-hour callback minimum
* Travel experience required
* Will float within scope to meet facility needs if needed, but will more than likely remain in Cath Lab
* Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
* Active WV or Compact License required to start; pending license accepted for submission
* Responsibilities include circulating in the lab, moderate sedation, patient assessment, medication administration, and pre/post-op care
* Charting system: Cerner
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Free parking available for travelers
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Minimum 2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required
