Job Details:

* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Weekend availability required based on department need
* Must work at least one holiday during assignment
* No on-call required
* May float to other ICU/Tele units as well as MS/Tele as needed
* Must be willing and able to float to all Tele/DOU units as well as ICU and Observation Care as needed
* Primarily assigned to a Telemetry unit with potential float to ICU and Cath Lab
* When floated to Cath Lab, will not be assigned patients outside scope of practice as a Tele nurse
* ICU experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Block scheduling not available and specific schedule requests cannot be accommodated
* Three missed shifts may result in cancellation of assignment
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Charting system: Cerner
* Required skills: Care of Ventilated Patient, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry, ICU experience
* Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, and Rapid Response Teams
* Scrub color: No specific color required, but no camouflage or character patterns
* Strict dress code enforced: no facial hair, no acrylic nails, no unnatural hair colors, all tattoos must be covered, no visible body piercings other than earrings, no facial or nose rings, and earrings may not extend beyond the earlobe or be hoop earrings
* Free parking available
