Job Details:

* 24 hours per week
* Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13 weeks; cancelled shifts must be the regular shift length to which the contractor is assigned
* No on-call required
* No weekend requirements
* Scrub color: Eggplant
* Charting system: EPIC
* 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, RD/RDN
* Skilled Nursing (SNF) experience required; long-term/skilled care experience preferred
* Serve a geriatric patient population with an average daily census of 44 and approximately 5 visits per day
* Required skills include nutrition assessments and reassessments, enteral nutrition (tube feedings), dysphagia management, therapeutic diet orders, calorie counts, chronic wound nutrition support, fluid/electrolyte requirements, food-drug interactions, Nutrition Focused Physical Exam (NFPE), and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)
* Additional skills include Alzheimer's disease care, appetite stimulants, aspiration safety, fluid balance, failure to thrive, nutrient deficiencies, cachexia, older adult care, and teaching nutrition classes
* Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off

This facility is a skilled nursing and long-term care community providing specialized dietary and nutritional services to a predominantly geriatric patient population. With 57 beds and an average daily census of 44, the facility offers an interdisciplinary care environment focused on meeting the complex nutritional needs of residents. The organization utilizes EPIC for charting and is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centered care.
