RN - Med/Surg Tele

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Every other weekend coverage required, subject to change based on need
* Floating may be required to like units based on skill set
* Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty required
* Travel experience required - does not accept first-time travelers
* Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Teaching and community hospital experience preferred
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Patient ratio experience of 6 patients
* Daily census of 15-20 patients with 30 beds on unit
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
* Must hold active Tennessee RN license or multistate compact license
* Required skills include: blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line care and management, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry monitoring, feeding tube care and management, colostomy and ileostomy management, and accessing and managing ports
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, radiology, social services, and phlebotomy
