Job Details:

* 40-hour day shift schedule
* Call required every 4th-5th day and every 4th-5th weekend
* Weekend coverage limited to on-call cases only (no scheduled weekend shifts)
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Float required - position covers 2 IR rooms, CT, and ultrasound moderate sedation needs
* Patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 1:1 across days, nights, and weekends
* Daily census of approximately 15 patients across 2 rooms
* Provide direct patient care for procedures in the IR Suite, CT, and Ultrasound
* Monitor and administer moderate sedation
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Key skills include interventional radiology, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, IV vasopressors, vascular closure systems, sheath removal and monitoring, and radiation and laser safety

This facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center and primary stroke center operating as a teaching hospital with active resident and fellowship programs. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The organization is committed to delivering high-acuity patient care across a broad range of interventional and procedural specialties.
