Opportunity:

Labor and Delivery Nights

Job Details:

* Night shift position with a block schedule
* Every other weekend coverage required
* Holiday RTO allowed
* Night shift patient ratio of 1:3
* 15-bed Labor and Delivery unit
* 1-2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
* Experience in a high acuity, fast paced unit required
* Basic/intermediate fetal monitoring experience required
* Travel experience required
* Will accept first-time travelers with experience in a high acuity, fast paced unit
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP (BLS and NRP required in hand at time of submission)
* Must be comfortable with a wide range of Labor and Delivery skills including antepartum care, cesarean section, epidural anesthesia, magnesium sulfate therapy, pitocin administration, and fetal monitoring
* Must be proficient in triage of obstetrical patients, postpartum hemorrhage management, and pre-eclampsia/eclampsia care
* Experience with high-risk antepartum, HELLP syndrome, and multiple gestation preferred
* Must be able to float to like units within scope as needed based on facility needs
* Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at time of submission
* Local candidates within 75-mile radius not accepted

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a 15-bed Labor and Delivery unit supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretarial support. The facility delivers between 100 and 200 births per month and maintains a strong focus on high acuity obstetrical care, providing a dynamic and fast-paced environment for experienced Labor and Delivery nurses.
