Opportunity:

Medical-Surgical ICU

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts per week
* Weekend coverage required with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
* Float required based on schedule
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for days, nights, and weekends
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* LTAC experience preferred
* Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
* Unit consists of 16 beds across 12 rooms with a daily census of 14
* Special equipment experience required: CRRT (NXXT Stage)
* Key clinical skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, isolation precautions/PPE, management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, suctioning (ETT, NT), titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, and ventilator management
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
