Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with various shifts throughout the week
* Weekend coverage required every other weekend per unit needs (subject to change)
* On-call required: 1 shift every 6 weeks
* May float to sister facilities within the North region per facility request, within the Women and Infants service line only
* Patient ratio of 1:4; 1-2 patients during labor, 3-4 patients postpartum
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color provided by facility
* 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required; first-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS, STABLE
* Patient age groups served: Neonates and Adults
* 22-bed unit with interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Radiology, and more
* 36 orientation hours required
* Key skills include Labor & Delivery, Couplet Care, Cesarean Section, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Postpartum Hemorrhage management, Neonatal Resuscitation, Electronic Fetal Monitoring, and pre-eclampsia/eclampsia care among others

Facility:

This women's care facility is a dedicated inpatient unit focused on Labor & Delivery and postpartum care, operating with a 22-bed unit. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation. The unit serves neonatal and adult patient populations with a strong emphasis on high-quality maternal and newborn care.
